Well done on another great week of Home Learning. It’s been wonderful to see the work you have handed in or uploaded onto MyUSO. It was lovely seeing you on our video calls again this week. This will continue to happen each Wednesday, we will use the times from this week for our future meetings.

Please wait for us to call you and set up the meetings. For next week please bring your Homophone Bingo cards. These will be ready to collect with your new Reading books on Monday. Please make sure you are logged in to Microsoft Teams for these catch up calls and have selected ‘Gallery view’ so you are able to see everybody on the call.
Thank you for collecting your child’s new reading books on Monday. You can collect more reading books on Monday 18th between 9:30 and 10:00am from the front of the school. Please remember to return completed books during this time as well. If you are given books that you have already read please re-read them and work on reading comprehension or read books that you have at home. During this time we would also like you to bring into school any work that has been completed at home. Please ensure that it is clearly labelled with your child’s name and class. We will then keep this work in school.
Home Learning for next week can be found below. We will continue to work on The Great Fire of London as our topic and in Maths we will be looking at tally charts and pictograms. The Weekly Learning Grid has links to all of the recorded lessons, resources and PowerPoints you will need. If you are unable to print any of the resources at home please send an email to the year 2 email address before 8:00 am on Monday 18th and we will make packs available for you to collect with your child’s new reading books.
We have started to award j2stars for work that is completed at home. These can be viewed when logging into j2e. Please remember we will only comment on work that we have asked to be uploaded. This can be found on the Weekly Learning Grid.
