PTA

The Parent Teacher Association

At Archdeacon Cambridge's, we are fortunate to have a very active and supportive Parent Teacher Association, who do a wonderful job of organising social and fundraising events for our families. The PTA is inclusive and welcomes support and ideas from all parents and teachers.

Every parent /carer who has a child at

Archdeacon Cambridge's is automatically considered

to be a valued member of the PTA family.

There are 6 elected core committee member who do all the admin, financial, legal and planning work, as well as supporting anyone running an event. Each class is asked to select a representative (Class Rep) at the start of the year.  Their job is to be their class voice at the PTA meetings, and to help spread news from the PTA back to their class. The PTA meet at least once a term and hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September.

Archdeacon Cambridge’s Primary School PTA is a registered charity dedicated to raising money to enrich and improve our children’s learning experiences while they are at primary school.  They do this by holding events for the children, their families and the local community throughout the year.

In the last few years, PTA funds have contributed to Chromebooks in all classrooms, swimming pool refurbishments, classroom and playground refurbishments, interactive whiteboards and lunch tables. Alongside this, they have provided financial support for themed school weeks, theatre performances and coaches for school trips.
