Weekly Parent Letter – Year 2

Dear Parents,
We’ve had a lovely week! We’ve read some more chapters of The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark and looked at nocturnal animals. We’ve also been learning the time in 5 minute intervals using “past the hour”. For example – 50 minutes past 5. Please continue to practise this at home. The children made clocks in school and have bought them home to help continue learning the time.
Homework:
Please complete another activity from the Year 2 homework grid. No evidence is needed for the maths activity. Please could you date the activity on the grid when they are completed.
