KS2 (Year 6) SATs results

 

These tests are taken by Year 6 pupils in May each year. SATs tests cover English (Reading Comprehension and GPS - Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling) and Maths (Arithmetic and Reasoning) and are externally marked. Writing is teacher assessed and moderated between schools.  Due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic, current guidance is to publish our most recent KS2 data. Our children’s performance for the 2018 - 2019 academic year appears below.

Guide to scores

Progress score: The amount of progress a group of children makes between Year 2 and Year 6 SATs. A positive progress score indicates better progress than a similar group of children on a national level.

Scaled score (range 80–120): 100 is the national standard
Expected Standard: a government expectation for pupil performance, calculated retrospectively based on each year's raw scores.
High Level: a government indication of performance at an enhanced standard - scaled score of 110 or above.
