Week Beginning Monday 11th January 2021

IMPORTANT UPDATE- Microsoft Teams Meeting

Friday 8th January 2021

Dear Year 1,

Well done for completing lots of home learning this week. We are so impressed by all the different pieces of work you produced. Thank you parents for your support and for uploading your child's work onto JiT/J2E. If you haven't managed to upload anything yet, please try and do this over the weekend. If you are having problems uploading, please let us know via the Year 1 email.

We really enjoyed seeing the children on for our Virtual Show and Tell. We will keep to the same timings next week and further details will be posted on this page on Wednesday.

Thank you for collecting your child's handwriting books and new reading books. You can collect more reading books on Monday 11th January at 9:30am from the front of the school. Please remember to return completed books during this time as well. If you are given books you have already read please re-read them and work on reading comprehension or select a book from home instead.

Please find the Weekly Grid below. Each link will take you directly to the lesson or resource. We are continuing to utilise resources provided by White Rose and we have also continued to include the Letters and Sounds phonics lessons as a daily task. Please try and do this every day. Reading remains an essential task. Additionally, Busy Things (MyUSO) and Espresso (login below) have great resources and games that the children will enjoy and be beneficial to their learning.

One of the Year 1 team will be available via Microsoft Teams Chat every school day from 9:30am – 11:30am to answer any general queries you may have. If your query is specifically about your child please use the Year 1 email address.

Thank you for your continued support and have a fantastic weekend.
