Year 1 Weekly Information Letter

Friday 14^th January

Dear Parents and Carers,

The children have had a great week classifying animals and have enjoyed sharing their mammal facts with the rest of the class. Some other highlights of the week included working on animal dances during PE and some fantastic tens and ones work in Maths.

Please find some information to help support your child over the next week.

Homework

Thank you for helping your child to complete their homework, we have been very impressed with the work they have produced. Folders will continue to be sent home each Friday and should be returned the following Wednesday.

Maths

Please play the following games on Top Marks. We have been learning about one more and one less in class.

Topic (optional)

Next week we will continue our topic on Animals including humans. During the week we will be learning about animal diets, human body parts and a senses science experiment. As an optional homework your child could find a fact about a human body part or organ. The children will have the opportunity to share these with the rest of the class next week.
