Dear Parents,
On Wednesday we will continue our weekly Microsoft Teams Meetings. Like last week these will be in small groups and give the children the opportunity to talk to some of their classmates and for us to keep in touch.
We would like each child to bring something to ‘Show and Tell’ during this session. This is not compulsory but is encouraged. The children can give a short explanation of what it is and why they chose it.
Please log on at the time shown below as sessions will start promptly. You can find your child’s group within the class channel. Please log into Microsoft Teams before these sessions to find out which group your child is in. If you are unsure of which group your child is in, please let us know.

Thank you for all of the work you have uploaded onto MyUSO this week. It’s been lovely seeing the work you have been completing at home. It was lovely seeing you on our video calls this week. This will continue to happen each Wednesday between 2 and 3pm. Please wait for us to call you and set up the meetings. For next week please bring something to 'Show and Tell' to the rest of the group. Please make sure you are logged in to Microsoft Teams for these catch up calls.
Thank you for collecting your child’s handwriting books and new reading books. You can collect more reading books on Monday 11th at 10am from the front of the school. Please remember to return completed books during this time as well. If you are given books that you have already read please re-read them and work on reading comprehension or read books that you have at home. During this time we would also like you to bring into school any work that has been completed at home. Please ensure that it is clearly labelled with your child’s name and class. We will then keep this work in school.
Home Learning for next week can be found below. We will continue to work on The Great Fire of London as our topic and in Maths we will continue to look at division, this week we will start looking at the link between multiplication and division. The Weekly Learning Grid has links to all of the resources and PowerPoints you will need. When you see 
on a PowerPoint slide, click for some audio from us. If you are unable to print any of the resources at home please send an email to the year 2 email address before 8:00 am on Monday 11th and we will make packs available for you to collect with your child’s new reading books.
