Dear Parents and Carers
The children have had a fantastic Sports Week! They have taken part in a huge range of different activities this week and shown their sporting talents. Thank you to all of the parents that were able to come and cheer on Year 1 this morning at Sports Day on The Green. Everyone was brilliant at taking part in each event and supporting each other.
Homework
Next week we will start looking at our topic of ‘Toys’. For homework we would like the children to draw their favourite toy and write a description of it and explain why it is their favourite. This can be completed on the sheet inside of your child’s homework folder.
Notices
- Please donate any junk modelling materials you have at home. We will need this for Toy making on Wednesday. Please make sure any items have been cleaned before bringing them into school. Helpful junk modelling items of all shapes and sizes can include: cardboard, plastic pots/bottles/lids, lolly sticks, egg boxes, sting and ribbon.
- PE will return to Tuesdays and Fridays as normal. Please ensure your child wears their PE on these days.
- On warm/hot days please ensure your child has sun cream on before school and brings a hat and water bottle with them.
