Dear Year 6 Parents and Children,

We would like to thank you so much for your lovely cards and generous gifts. The past few months and the end of term have been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster for all of us – adults and children. Parents, you have been amazing, supporting your children’s home learning and keeping them occupied while often trying to work yourselves. Children, you have kept on impressing us with your motivation, independence and cheerfulness. You really are a cohort of children we would have liked to spend more actual time with, rather than virtual! Luckily you have had enough years at school for us to be able to send you forward into the next stage of your lives as true Archdeacon young people, ready to take on new opportunities, make the most of what comes next and care for others. We will miss you (children and parents) and hope to see you all in September for a belated celebration of your time with us.

Thank you again and enjoy the summer,

Best wishes

Mrs Taylor, Mr Myers, Mrs Capon, Mrs Kelsted, Mrs Nag, Mrs Archibald, Mrs Buncher, Mrs Ayliffe and Ms Dallosso.

P.S. Do have a look at the photos we have put on the website of the children’s activities in their final weeks at school. We have also emailed you a photo of your child receiving their leaver’s award.
