Renaming our Houses

In 2020, we decided to rename our houses because we felt that the people our houses were named after were not inspirational for our children. 

We invited our families to make suggestions and to write down why they felt that person was a good choice. We narrowed the suggestions down to 10 people and shared information about them all in Collective Worship.

Then we had a vote! All children at the school were allowed one vote for their significant person of choice, based on what they had learnt about them.
