School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) / Play Leader
(Casual contract)
Salary: £15.24 per hour (plus holiday pay)

Archdeacon Cambridge’s School is a popular, two form entry primary school situated opposite Twickenham Green. We currently have a vacancy for one School Meals Supervisory Assistant / Play Leader.
This role will be on a casual contract initially. The successful applicant will be asked to work for up to 2 hours per day (Monday to Friday in term time), between the hours of 11.30am-1.45pm. There may also be a requirement to work additional hours to cover absence or in order to undertake training.
Our lunch time staff are responsible for setting up the Lunch Hall and the supervision, welfare and conduct of infant or junior children at lunchtime. Candidates are expected to actively engage and support children in playground games and other activities. The job involves working in the dining hall and the playgrounds. It requires a good level of physical fitness, good interpersonal skills, a sense of humour and an enjoyment of outdoor activities. Experience of working with children and evidence of training which relates to childcare and education would be an advantage.
