Library Reading Challenge

In order to encourage the use of the school library we have developed a reading challenge called the Compass Reading Challenge. The challenge is designed to encourage children to go on a reading adventure and try out different genre of books that they might not naturally read – e.g. stories set in other times, fantasy, or non-fiction. There are postcards for children to fill in to recommend books to friends and family or they can send the postcard to me in the library. A record sheet has been prepared for each child with space for a sticker for each book read. We shall issue certificates for children who complete the challenge by World Book Day.

We look forward to welcoming Years 1-6 children back to school after the Summer Break on Thursday 3rd September. We will be holding tours of the school for Nursery & Reception 2027 parents in October and November. Please call the School Office for more details on 020 8894 4777,
