Inspection and Performance Information
KS2 (Year 6) SATs results
These tests are taken by Year 6 pupils in May and results are released in July. SATs tests cover English (Reading Comprehension and GPS - Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling) and Maths (Arithmetic and Reasoning) and are externally marked. Writing is teacher assessed and moderated between schools.
Children's raw scores are converted into:
- A scaled score of between 80 and 120. These are calculated retrospectively, based on all Year 6 pupils' raw scores.
- An attainment outcome. A child who receives a scaled score of 100 is considered to be working at the Expected Standard. A child who receives a score of 110 or above is considered to be working at a High Standard or Greater Depth.
