Dear Year 5,

Below is a summary of this week's learning and suggested activities if you are unable to attend school this week.

In Maths, we will be looking at interpreting, reading and drawing charts and graphs. Please watch the following video lessons to find out more about line graphs:

In English, we are continuing to write using persuasive techniques. This week, we are creating a persuasive leaflet advertising, Infinity Park, the brand new theme park that Liam has travelled to in China. Draw your own map of an exciting theme park and put it inside a persuasive leaflet which will attract holidaymakers and thrill seekers to the park. Remember to use a variety of persuasive techiniques and lots of wow words and powerful language. The following links give tips on persuasive writing and creating an advert:

In RE we are continuing our Sikhism topic and exploring the importance and meaning of 5K's.

In reflection, think of an item or artefact that is important to you. Why is it important? What does it mean to you?

Best Wishes,

The Year 5 team
