Well done on another amazing week of Home Learning! We’ve really enjoyed seeing all of your work on MyUSO and pieces that have been handed in. The 1666 houses were exceptional! Home Learning for next week can be found below. Next week we will finish our topic on The Great Fire of London and in Maths we will begin to look at shapes, focusing on 2D shapes. The Weekly Learning Grid has links to all of the recorded lessons, resources and PowerPoints you will need.
Notices:
- We will continue our optional morning registrations each Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. These will start at 8:55am. Please wait for us to start the meeting. Please have paper and a pencil available. Please log in with your microphone on and on large gallery view (see instructions below)
- Our weekly calls on Wednesday will continue to take place at the following times. Please wait for us to start the meetings.

Please bring your shape art work (Tuesday maths activity) to show and discuss.
- New reading books will be ready to collect on Monday 8th February between 9:30am and 10am. Please remember to return completed books during this time as well. During this time we would also like you to bring into school any work that has been completed at home. Please ensure that it is clearly labelled with your child’s name and class. We will then keep this work in school. If you are unable to collect reading books, please email and let us know or log into www.activelearnprimary.co.uk and read the allocated BugClub books. Remember to click on the ‘Bug’ to answer questions on what you are reading.
- If you are unable to print any of the resources at home please send an email to the year 2 email address before 8:00 am on Monday 8th and we will make packs available for you to collect with your child’s new reading books.
