W/b 14th December - Week 7
Dear parents and carers,
The children performed brilliantly last week when filming for the Christmas Play and we are very proud of them all. We have lots of Christmas themed fun set up for this week.
Please see the Support at Home section on the school website for details of what we are learning about in class this week.
There will be no new spellings set this week. Please review your child’s spelling tests from this half term with your child and spend some time learning any they are still unsure of. Word list 3B will be tested later this week.
Throughout this week and over the holidays we would like the children to make sure they are reading every evening, and continuing to practice their 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 times tables. Please encourage your child to use Times Table Rockstars to do this as it will help them to improve their recall speed and help us to identify which ones we need to focus on.
This will be the last weekly letter as after the holidays the children will write down any homework/information in their home/school diary in order to develop their independence. If there is something specific we need to let you know about we will contact you via the usual channels. We will continue to update the ‘Support at home’ section on the school website in the event of any absences.

RE – this week we are answering the question ‘Why did God choose Mary?’. Consider what Mary might have been thinking/how Mary may have felt at the time the Angel visited her in order to help you answer the question.
