Book Week
This year, our Book Week was based around poetry. Each class learnt a poem 'by heart' and the children shared these at an assembly. We were also joined on our dress up day by Rachel Piercey, who performed some of her poetry to the whole school and then delivered poetry workshops to some of the children too.
Thank you to all those who supported our Book Week. We were so impressed by the variety of poetry the children chose as their inspiration for their outfits. The children enjoyed spending a week immersing themselves in the world of poetry.
