At Archdeacon Cambridge’s CE Primary School we are always looking for opportunities to develop ways that we can help you to support your child at home. With this in mind, we subscribe to two internet based packages which are designed to support the New Curriculum and the topic areas which we cover in school. Teachers may use these sites to set homework and your child is also free to explore and use the activities, games and research materials as you see fit to support any learning they are doing at home.
Login information is set out below:
Abacus Maths – www.activelearnprimary.co.uk
The Abacus Maths scheme is one which we use in school and the online games and activities closely replicate the skills and the techniques children are familiar with using in lessons.
The School Code which you will need for the login process for Abacus Maths is available from your child’s class teacher.
London Grid for Learning – https://my.uso.im
The London Grid for Learning (LGFL) offers a range of programs which support a wide variety of curriculum areas. Within Maths, the main programs we may use are ‘Mult e Maths’, ‘Maths at Home’ and ‘Busythings’.
Once you have launched the ‘My USO home page’ you should select ‘USO login’ to access the online learning resources which have been selected by year group teachers at Archdeacon.
Your child’s username and password for both Abacus and London Grid for Learning are the same and are available from your child’s class teacher.
