Netball
Hollie Henderson and Ella Barker report
On Wednesday 14th October our Year 6 netball team played St Mary’s school in Twickenham. We are delighted to report that our team won the match 10:4. Well done to all who took part. On the 16th October the Year 6 Netball team went to Old Dear Park to play a netball tournament. We played lots of matches, and we made it through to the cup stage. Unfortunately we were knocked out in the quarter finals by St.James’ who went on to win the tournament. Over all we had a very nice day and would happily do it again!
Boys’ Football
Dean Byne and Keagan Davis report
On Wednesday 21st October the boys’
football team went to Chase Bridge to
participate in a league football match. At
half-time unfortunately we were 2-0 down,
but after half time we got our courage
back and came away with a 2-2 draw.
The goal scorers were Dean Byne 6D and
Tolu Ajayi-Obe 6F
Girls’ Football
Emma Waplington and Rrita Pula report
On Thursday 5th November the Year 6
girls’ football team played a match
against St Mary’s. We started off well
with a close chance of scoring. Elena, our
goal-keeper saved lots of goals. The rest
of the team played really well, expecially
considering that to date we have only 7
members of the team. Despite our efforts
the final score was 6-0 to St Mary’s.
